The owner is a delightful women! All of her staff is incredibly kind. Everything she makes either melts on your tongue or is extremely savory. I love spending my weekends here. The interior is cute and trendy with a lovely turquoise, white, brown, and pink color palette. I recommend that everyone stops in and tries at at least one of her items. Tea lovers must stop by to sit down and have some lovely tea. I'm a big fan of her hot rose oolong tea.
So, I've recently moved to the North Country from central Mass. And after living here long enough to explore the Potsdam-Canton area, I can so confidently and strongly say: Sweet Margaret is an absolute Must Visit spot. Anything you can get, whether it is sweet or savory (the versatility!!!) is top-notch and fairly priced. In case you need a recommendation: if there are custard cream puffs on the day you visit, snag as many of them as you can immediately!!! They are divine. The sit-in area is also lovingly decorated, clean and comfy.
Sushi was on the menu today and it didn’t disappoint! I also ordered a slice of the Oreo /snickers cake. It was very good. The sushi is in the background. (Didn’t get a chance to take a picture of it.) Thank you Sweet Margarets. You can tell when an establishment actually cares about quality and taste of food. This one is it!
Excellent! The lady here is so nice. The whole place is very cozy. Good for small groups. The boba they serve is top notch. Definitely recommended.
Some of the BEST boba I’ve had. Margaret is so sweet and truly puts her heart into the business. You would want to follow her on instagram to make sure she’s open! Her crepe cakes are amazing as well. I requested to have a grad cake (attached below) and it’s so flavorful
i stopped here because i wanted to try out a bakery and i fell in love !! her baked goods are so delicous and her chai latte is to die for !! not on the expensive side either which is very shocking in potsdam. stop by and get a drink and pastry !! :)
Certainly a GEM in the community! The small boxed meals are packed with authentic home-style flavors. The variety of toppings for Teas are so refreshing. The dessert selections are overwhelmingly delicious. The pastries are so good and lightly sweetened, one is never enough. I can't wait to visit again.
Margaret is a great business owner. She is the sweetest, kindest, and gentle woman I have ever met. Her customer service etiquette is phenomenal. She is speedy, and makes everything with love. Her drinks are delicious and the food is so unique and amazing. This is sincerity and underrated place. The decoration is adorable and it is so comfortable as soon as you walk in. Amazing experience every time.
I've been to this place a handful of times and I must say that I've been foolish for not going more. The customer service and quality of the pastries here are beyond excellent! The place is very clean, it's a nice shop, and overall these are the best pastries I've ever had in Northern New York. Highly recommend 🙂👊🏼
Ordered a scallion croissant which was good. Very overwhelming with scallion so if you're only mildly interested in it, I would order something else. Matcha macaron which tasted strong (which I like) and a lavender flavored drink (can't remember the name). The drink tasted like eating a flower and I really liked it. My friend ordered a chai and it was the best chai they've ever had in upstate NY. Good food and good drinks for a nice price. Just kinda strong. Also offers a "buy xyz amount of drinks and get one free"
